Following a request to offer the PM4-SA / PM8-SA Mutizone Paging Microphones and 'Message Announcer' without the Gooseneck Microphone fitted - we have simply removed the mic and added a stopper to cover the hole.
The stopper is large enough to be successfully cemented in place - thus protecting the internals from unwanted intrusion.
This solution can easily be a retrofit and doesn’t effect the performance in anyway (apart from no Local Mic function - obviously).
